CERVENTE SUDDUTH | President + CEO

Cervente Sudduth is the President and CEO of DuBois Consultants, bringing more than 30 years of experience in structural engineering. He received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Missouri Columbia and a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis on structural engineering from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Currently, Cervente is working towards his PhD, also at the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
Recognized as a thought leader in the industry, Cervente has participated in and led a wide range of traditional design-bid-build and EPC (Engineer, Procure, and Construction) projects. His extensive portfolio includes hundreds of successful developments across commercial building construction, water infrastructure, oil and gas, and power sectors. Cervente is a licensed professional engineer in Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, Oklahoma, and Virginia. Outside of work, Cervente enjoys spending time with his family, catching the latest films in theaters, fishing, and golfing.
JON GRAY | Civil Department Manager

Jon Gray is the Civil Department Manager at DuBois Consultants with nearly 50 years of civil engineering experience, specializing in water and wastewater treatment, distribution, and collection. His journey began at Larkin & Associates, where his father, a sanitary engineer, introduced him to the world of sewers, treatment plants, water tanks, and more – setting him on the path to becoming a civil engineer.
Jon’s extensive background includes large-scale infrastructure projects with a focus on water and wastewater systems, along with deep expertise in grading, drainage, and the critical elements that support these systems. He specializes in water, wastewater, stormwater, hydraulics, master planning, and project and program management. Jon is a licensed professional engineer in Kansas and Missouri. When he isn’t in the office, you can find him spending time with his grandchildren and wife, taking trips to small towns, fixing anything and everything, and searching for fun shows on Netflix.
DANA BARTCH | Kansas City Business Development Specialist
Dana Bartch is our Kansas City Business Development Specialist and Marketing Manager, bringing two years of experience to the role. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Linguistics from Truman State University, but her passion for engineering – sparked in high school – ultimately led her back to the field.
Dana focuses on building strong relationships with AEC firms and clients throughout the Kansas City area, always on the lookout for exciting, impactful projects for our team to pursue. She also oversees our social media, presentations, and proposal development, and keeps the office environment fun and engaging. Outside of work, Dana enjoys spending time with family and friends, practicing karate, watching movies in theaters, and watching basketball.
